Lunch: Happy Burrito Day! The ASC Café is now offering burrito bowls in addition to our burritos. We are now serving chicken, beef and nacho cheese, bean and cheese, and veggie (vegan) burritos!

TODAY:

As a reminder today, Davis Senior High School will be hosting the CIF Sac Joaquin Section Masters Track and Field Championships. The stadium parking lot will be closed to students and staff all day. If the stadium lot is your preferred parking location, please find an alternate parking location in Vets Memorial parking lot or St. James off 14th  Street. St. James has graciously honored our request to use the lot off 14th street for students and staff members.


DHS Acadeca will be hosting its annual Trivia Nights, from 6-8 p.m. at the school library. Come spend a night full of Trivia about the 1960's health and pop culture, complete with prizes! Food will be provided. Admission is $5 for students, $7 for general, and teams are limited to five people.

Hey tennis players and parents! Please come to our informational meeting next Wednesday, May 22 at 5:00pm to learn more about the Davis High Girls' upcoming Fall tennis season. We will meet in the All Student Center on the DSHS campus.
Sports Physical Clinic! Saturday, June 1st 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Sutter Family Medicine 2030 Sutter Pl., Suite 2000. Athletes in grades 7-12 are encouraged to complete their sports physicals this spring for the 2019-20 school year. $20 donation benefits DSHS Athletics. Please bring Sports Physical Examination Form completed, signed by a parent/guardian in order to participate in the clinic. Available on Athletics page, forms folder: https://dshs.djusd.net

ACADEMICS/OPORTUNITIES/EVENTS:
SENIORS: If you have a religious or medical reason that necessitates leaving the graduation ceremony early, please contact Vice Principal Amelia Hess as soon as possible.
CAASPP TESTING: Attention students - Seniors and Juniors will take the CAASPP Science test on May 22 or May 23 during their Social Studies class.  Sophomores will not test

CLUBS:

Trying to expand your knowledge of Korean Culture? Come in and join the Korean Club! We cover Korean language, music, food, and travel that might be essential for your next student exchange programs! With different activities such as movie nights, games, and fundraisers, it would be a great chance to increase your interest in Korean Culture. For more information come to Ms. Curry's class in P-24 where meetings are held every Wednesday. Hope to see you there!

Interested in Japanese Culture! Come to Japan Day hosted by Japanese Culture Club and JLCC at UCD. It will be held in the South Gym on May 18th from 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. There will be lots of fun activities and performances. Don't miss out!
