THIS DAY IN HISTORY: 1926 - The U.S. Congress passed the Air Commerce Act. The act gave the Department of Commerce the right to license pilots and planes.

MENU DHS:

  *   Breakfast Served Daily:  Cereal w/Graham Cracker, Breakfast Pizza, Assorted Breakfast Sandwiches, Scones, Breakfast Burrito, Chicken & Cheese Quesadilla, Pancakes w/ Sausage, Assorted Muffins, Chicken & Biscuit Slider, Yogurt Parfait w/Graham Cracker.
  *   Grab & Go Hot Chocolate & Muffin & Fruit Cinnamon Rolls.
Lunch: Today's Lunch specials in the ASC Café are Teriyaki Chicken with Fried Rice, General Tso's Chicken with Yakisoba noodles and Stir fried veggies, and Buffalo Chicken with Cajun Fries.

Hey NHS! The last meeting of the semester will be today at lunch in S-12. Seniors MUST attend this meeting to pick up their cord for graduation. Come to learn about new volunteer opportunities and fulfil your meeting requirement!



Come to Latinos Unidos. We'll be talking about the outreach tutoring program BRIDGE, so come to learn more about serving the community. Come at lunch time to the Student Success Center to learn more!

Hey tennis players and parents! Please come to our informational meeting next Wednesday, May 22 at 5:00pm to learn more about the Davis High Girls' upcoming Fall tennis season. We will meet in the All Student Center on the DSHS campus.
Sports Physical Clinic! Saturday, June 1st 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Sutter Family Medicine 2030 Sutter Pl., Suite 2000. Athletes in grades 7-12 are encouraged to complete their sports physicals this spring for the 2019-20 school year. $20 donation benefits DSHS Athletics. ACADEMICS/OPORTUNITIES/EVENTS:
SENIORS: If you have a religious or medical reason that necessitates leaving the graduation ceremony early, please contact Vice Principal Amelia Hess as soon as possible.
CAASPP TESTING: Attention students - Seniors and Juniors will take the CAASPP Science test on May 22 or May 23 during their Social Studies class.  Sophomores will not test

CLUBS:

Trying to expand your knowledge of Korean Culture? Come in and join the Korean Club! We cover Korean language, music, food, and travel that might be essential for your next student exchange programs! With different activities such as movie nights, games, and fundraisers, it would be a great chance to increase your interest in Korean Culture. For more information come to Ms. Curry's class in P-24 where meetings are held every Wednesday. Hope to see you there!



Want to know more about Australia and New Zeland? Come to Culture Club! Where you can learn about different cultures and gain a different perspective of cultures around the Globe. It will be happening in P-23 at lunch every Tuesday. Hope to see you there!
