EVENTS FOR TODAY:

There will be a girls Water Polo informational meeting for next fall at 7-8pm in room A-3 Mr. Wright.

Do you want to learn about chemistry, anthropology, archaeology, biology, neuroscience and comparative literature majors at UCD?  Join Inspire to Aspire UCD mentors at 2:30 in the DSHS Library. Professors from UCD will do a panel presentation on these majors.  The first 20 students will receive a free copy of Stephen Covey's bestseller: "7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens."

Hey Key Clubbers! We will be having our last general meeting of the year during lunch in S-12 hope to see you there!

Youth leadership Davis is hosting a student-led discussion on homelessness during lunch in room ASC-100 in the All Student Center come to hear from special guest Ryan Collins, homeless outreach coordinators for the city. All are welcome!

Build Blue Devil Pride, One Brick at a Time!

The new DAVIS BLUE DEVIL ATHLETIC BOOSTERS invite you to support all of our high school athletes with the purchase of a memorial brick. Bricks will be installed at the Steve Larsen Bike Plaza (in between the stadium and gym) and will honor your future, past or present athlete, musician, scientist or artist! Athletes: If you have signed or will be signing a letter of intent to play a sport at the collegiate level, we want to celebrate you on May 30th @ 12:10pm in the Quad. Please stop by the athletic secretary desk in the main office to pick up your information sheet. Information sheets are due to the athletic department by May 23rd to participate in the event. All levels of college participation are encouraged to participate. If you have, any questions stop by and see us.

With the permission of AD Lorenson, we have the opportunity to provide DHS singers the chance to SING THE NATIONAL ANTHEM before football games. SIGN-UPS are happening NOW. Attention ALL Seniors!
Be sure to get your Grad Night ticket before the prices go up. You only have 8 MORE DAYS for pre-sale tickets. After that, tickets will ONLY be available at the door for $100.00. This is an amazing night and worth every penny! Food and entertainment... everything is included in the price. CLUBS:
Spanish Language and Culture Club is having its end-of-the-year party during lunch on Thursday, May 24th, in room O-6. Bring food to share, if you can, and be sure to celebrate!

Guys, gals, and nonbinary pals! Come to the GSA meeting this Friday at lunch in Mr. Moore's room, P-21 near the elevator. We will be counting our discussion on stereotypes and language from last week.

CAREERS:
SENIORS:  The list of all students receiving scholarships, awards, or special recognition at Senior Awards Night is now posted in the windows of the Career Center.  Come to the Career Center to see if your name is on the list!

APUSH Meeting for incoming juniors

All students signed up for AP US History next year need to come to a mandatory meeting at the beginning of lunch next Wed, May 30th in the library.  Please bring your student ID in order to check out the textbook and receive the Summer Assignment. The meeting starts at 12:20pm. See you there!
