THIS DAY IN HISTORY: 1961 - The Freedom Riders were arrested in Jackson, Mississippi.
MENU DHS:
* Breakfast Serve Daily: Cereal w/Graham Cracker, Breakfast Pizza, Assorted Breakfast Sandwiches, Scones, Breakfast Burrito, Chicken & Cheese Quesadilla, Pancakes w/ Sausage, Assorted Muffins, Chicken & Biscuit Slider, Yogurt Parfait w/Graham Cracker.

The new DAVIS BLUE DEVIL ATHLETIC BOOSTERS invite you to support all of our high school athletes with the purchase of a memorial brick. Bricks will be installed at the Steve Larsen Bike Plaza (in between the stadium and gym) and will honor your future, past or present athlete, musician, scientist or artist! Attention ALL Seniors!
Be sure to get your Grad Night ticket before the prices go up. You only have 7 MORE DAYS for pre-sale tickets. Tickets are on sale on-line until midnight May 30th for $85.00 at www.davisgradnight.org<http://www.davisgradnight.org> or you can buy the tickets in person after the senior assembly on Wednesday outside the gym. After that, tickets will ONLY be available at the door for $100.00. This is an amazing night and worth every penny! Food and entertainment... everything is included in the price. This will be the last night the class of 2018 has to celebrate together so... hurry up and buy your tickets!
CLUBS:
Guys, gals, and nonbinary pals! Come to the GSA meeting this Friday at lunch in Mr. Moore's room, P-21 near the elevator. We will be counting our discussion on stereotypes and language from last week.
CAREERS:
Senior Awards Night is almost here! ALL SENIORS are invited to come to Senior Awards Night on Tuesday, May 29 at 6:00 p.m. in the Richard Brunelle Performance Hall. We encourage all seniors and their families to join us in celebrating the many accomplishments of our 2018 Senior Class. Now posted in the windows of the Career Center are the names of all students receiving scholarships, awards, or special recognition at Senior Awards Night. Come to the Career Center to see if your name is on the list.
APUSH Meeting for incoming juniors
All students signed up for AP US History next year need to come to a mandatory meeting at the beginning of lunch next Wed, May 30th in the library. Please bring your student ID in order to check out the textbook and receive the Summer Assignment. The meeting starts at 12:20pm. See you there!
