Hi all,Our goal each year is to sell between 150-200 tickets for this annual fundraiser, the most important fundraiser we have to support all of the DHS bands.  However, so far we've only sold around 85.
In terms of marketing and advertising: we have reached out to the junior highs (via music teachers and the general school announcements), retirement centers, Davis Enterprise, and flier on Peach Jar.  There is also an announcement on our Facebook page that can be shared on social media.  
So now we need your help: first of all, please come join us and buy your tickets for that fun night on March 2! There's great music, a sit down dinner, mocktails to drink, and fun and exciting things to buy at the auction and a raffle!  Explanation of ticket prices are below, I've copied what has been sent out previously.  Please note that if you are a student performer, or student volunteer during the event, and you want to have dinner that night, you do need to purchase a performer/volunteer ticket.  
Also, we really need your help to encourage other people to come: I've attached the flier again, one in English and one in Spanish, you can share on social media.  You can personally invite your friends, family, and co-workers.  Print out and post at a community board at work, or whatever stores you may frequent!

Hi Band families and Happy New Year!  
Tickets are on sale now for Coconut Grove, March 2, 2019!  This is a fun filled evening of dinner and jazz music and our biggest and most important fundraiser for the entire year for DHS Band Boosters, supporting all the band programs at Davis High School.  This year it will be back at the IDC at Emerson Junior High.  
What is Coconut Grove, you ask?  Coconut Grove was a famous Jazz Club in Los Angeles, during the height of jazz and Hollywood glitz.  We'll be recreating that atmosphere for a fun evening of a nice sit down dinner, mocktails,  live jazz performed by the Davis high school, junior highs, and Celia Cottle jazz groups, and a silent auction and raffle.  It will be on Saturday March 2 from 6 pm -9:30 pm at Emerson Junior High.  
At the event there will be tables that can seat up to 10 guests to enjoy dinner and the show.  
Ticket pricing:
1. Performer/Volunteer ($16.52): these are for students who will be performing with a jazz group, or students who are volunteering to work at the event that evening.  The ticket price includes dinner, but it does NOT include a seat at the tables of 10.  (there will be seating off to the side for these students to enjoy their dinner).  
2. Student (sitting with family) ($26.87): this is for students who wish to be seated at one of the tables of 10 with their family to enjoy dinner and the evening.  If you want your student to be able to sit with you through dinner and the evening (whether or not they are performing or volunteering), this ticket is for them.  Also, this ticket is for siblings/ friends who are students in the district.  

3. General ($52.74): this is for adults attending for dinner and the evening.  You will have a seat at a table, but it is not reserved seating.  
4. Premium table seating ($56.88):  These tickets are to reserve an entire table of 10 for you and your guests.  The minimum number to purchase is 10 (so that you are purchasing the entire table).  The reason these tickets cost slightly more: this is a RESERVED table: your table will be waiting for you, and assures that your entire party can be seated together.  Also, this is PREFERRED seating: the tables will be more centered to the stage for your viewing pleasure.
