[OldNorth] West Nile Virus

ON Friends:
	
	Mosquitos in Old North have tested positive for West Nile Virus.
	
	This information is from a UCD graduate student conducting an 
epidemiological study of WNV, who took overnight samples in our front 
yard about two weeks ago.  She picked the corner of 6th and C Street 
because it is a secondary staging site for the large population of 
crows that overnights near Community Chambers.
	
	Please take care to avoid mosquito bites and, if you know of any, 
please try to control or eliminate outdoor standing pools of water.
