[OldNorth] B St Visioning

ONDNA:

	Although not widely publicized, the B St Visioning options will be a 
critical topic for the upcoming Historical Resources Management 
Commission (HRMC) meeting, Monday, March 21st, 7:30 PM at the Hattie 
Weber Museum.

	Decisions by the city about B Street are important to all 
neighborhoods near to downtown because they may dramatically alter the 
character of that area, setting a precedent for "in-fill" in other 
corridors (F St, 5th St. etc.).  So far, developers and architects have 
dominated the discussion, establishing procedures outside of the Design 
Guidelines, so important to us.

	Please attend this meeting and offer your comments.  There will be few 
opportunities to do so before this goes to City Council.

	I have pasted below a link to the City documents on the two B St 
options, and also a link that will take you to the Davis Historical 
Society newsletter on B St. (see "Files" and then select 6.3).
