[OldNorth] OED: B St Vision at Hist Comm Mon 3/21 7:30

This appears to not be widely publicized, but the 
B St Visioning Options will be discussed at the 
coming Historical Resources Management Commission 
meeting this coming Monday at 7:30 pm at the 
Hattie Weber Museum.

The discussion here will be important because the 
options presented will alter the intact block of 
structures across from Central Park between 3rd 
and 4th, and may affect already designated 
historic resources in that area.

It is also significant that this Œvisioning 
process¹ is producing proposals that do not fit 
within the Design Guidelines for that area, so is 
serving as a model for how the Design Guidelines 
might be weakened through a political process.

Please come to the meeting to offer your comments 
if you can­there will be very few opportunities 
to comment on this before it is presented to the 
City Council.
