Hello everyone,
Attached is the latest summary of the preliminary data for the Trinity River Project for the 2025/26 season with updated information for both the Junction weir through Julian week 44 and the Trinity River Hatchery (TRH) through Julian week 39. The Junction City Weir was pulled out entirely on Monday, October 3 in advance of the storm that hit our region this week. Removal of the weir was accomplished with the support from the Hoopa Valley Tribe and the Yurok Tribe, and we are very thankful for their knowledge, hard work and willingness to respond on short notice. Reinstallation of the Junction City weir will be completed today, and we will continue with our normal trapping schedule next week.
