Greetings!
Attached please find the TRP trapping summary through JW 35 (Sep 2).
We began trapping at Willow Creek weir this past week and saw some fish. It was a pretty exciting and exhausting week. We've been dealing with the Knob Fire, and are on evacuation at this point, with the weir set to (hopefully) withstand the 2,650 cfs flows that will hit it today (Sunday).
The JC weir also got in some trapping last week after three weeks of fire evacuation. JC too is prepped for high water. Fingers crossed there's not too much debris in that big water.
Trinity River Hatchery will begin spring Chinook Salmon trapping this week (all under a cloud of smoke).

Happy Labor Day to you all,
I hope you are safe from fire and plague.
Cheers!
MC
