DAVIS SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL DAILY BULLETIN

OPPORTUNITIES: DHS Theater's final performance, A Tribute to Tony Fields is this Friday and Saturday! This is a celebration of a Davis High Alum who excelled in Hollywood before returning to give back to his community. It also highlights some of our favorite musical moments of the year. On Saturday April 29th. Come help us recognize all of our theatre seniors! Performances are 04/28-04/29 at 7p.m. get your tickets at the door or in person.
SENIORS: If you have not picked up your cap and gown, please go to the main office and see Brandi Lutzker.
We are excited to announce that our Seniors will have the opportunity to express their uniqueness by decorating their graduation caps! We want our graduation ceremony to be a positive and respectful event for all. Students who would like to decorate their caps are more than welcome to as long as they follow the guidelines listed below to ensure their cap decorations are appropriate and adhere to school policies:

KINDER PHOTOS ON GRAD NIGHT-Seniors LOVE seeing their kindergarten selves plaster a wall at Grad Night. Get your senior's pic on the wall by emailing (a scan or photo of the photo) to dgnkinderphotos at gmail.com<mailto:dgnkinderphotos at gmail.com>. We ARE accepting photos until May 26th. (Sorry for the wrong email before.)
SENIORS - GET YOUR GRAD NIGHT TICKET! The Class of 2023 will celebrate with an all-night graduation party packed with music, activities, games, special entertainment, dancing, food galore and a huge raffle.
Graduating seniors from all four Davis high schools are invited to a drug- and alcohol-free, safe all-night celebration from 9:30 pm, Friday, June 9, 2023, to 5 am on Saturday, June 10, at Emerson Junior High.

Tickets are $85 through May 31 and then increase to $100. Seniors who qualify for free/reduced lunch are eligible for one reduced-cost $20 ticket by entering their DJUSD email in the promo code field.
Attendees must arrive by midnight or will be turned away. Students may leave at any time but will not be permitted to re-enter. If students do not arrive by midnight or leave before 3:30 am, a parent/guardian will be contacted, even if the student is 18 years old.

CAREERS: Sacramento and Woodland community colleges will be on the quad at lunch on Wednesday, May 3 to display their wide variety of career programs that specialize in skilled trades, arts and sciences and modern technologies.  Don't miss this opportunity to find out how you can get job-ready in two years or less!
