ATHLETICS: Help support the Girls' Tennis Team tonight by dining at Chipotle from 5-9 pm. You can order in person or online but must mention the fundraiser when ordering for the team to receive 33% of all proceeds.
Fall workouts for DSHS softball will continue thru 11/18/2021.  Mon & Wed-DSHS Weight Room: 7-8pm; Tues & Thurs-Varsity Softball Field: 4-5:30pm. Interested in the Davis High Ski Team? Dryland conditioning begins in early November. Athletes must be cleared with the Athletics Dept. to be able to participate. Hey DHS, on Friday, October 15th Student Government will be hosting it's annual Homecoming Parade in downtown Davis. A tradition filled with floats, music, and fun! We are now taking applications from all clubs and student organizations. Each club will be incharge o creating/supplying their own float. Applications are available in the office or in ASC-100 are due to ASC-100 by Friday, 10/01. From there you will be able to view your appointment as well as change your appointment.

Plan for retakes: If you have already taken Senior Portraits, but would like to re-do your pictures, please email byterritory at lifetouch.com<mailto:byterritory at lifetouch.com> by October 6, 2021. Prestige will then be able to schedule you for a re-do session at the PRESTIGE STUDIO. Please note that re-takes have an additional fee determined by Prestige.

Deadline to photograph for Senior Portraits is by October 28, 2021. If Seniors miss the deadline they will not be in the yearbook.

CAREERS: Volunteers are needed for the Bobby Dazzler Pumpkin Patch at TROTTER Horse Ranch on Saturdays and Sundays in October. Volunteers will work two-hour shifts leading horses in rides at the pumpkin patch.  Some horse experience is helpful. Looking for an internship working with animals?  TROTTER Horse Ranch creates customized unpaid internships for students interested in working with horses or other ranch animals, helping with animal-assisted therapy, learning the basics of running a ranch, and more. The Sacramento Area Council of Governments is offering its 2022 Youth Leadership Academy, where high school students will learn about career opportunities in government, connect with elected officials, community activists and non-profit leaders, and discover how communities are shaped by people and policies.
