The "Dazzling Decades" Homecoming Dance will take place in the Davis Senior High quad this upcoming Saturday October 16th, from 8:00pm to 11:00pm.
Who is eligible to attend: any student enrolled in a DJUSD school in grades 10-12.  No guests/non-DJUSD students are allowed to purchase tickets and attend.
Tickets will resume with sales tomorrow, Monday October 11th at noon through Wednesday October 13th at 11:59pm or until all 800 tickets sell out!
Cost: Tickets are $8 with ASB card, $13 without.

In-person at the DSHS Finance Office: open 30 minutes before school, during lunch, and 30 minutes after 7th period.

COVID Test Requirement:
All dance attendees are required to provide a Negative COVID test result at the dance. This test MUST occur on either Wednesday Oct. 13th or Thursday Oct 14th.
COVID testing can be done at the All Student Center on campus between 4:30-6:30pm  on Wednesday. Additional testing sites for Wednesday and Thursday include the Vet's Memorial Center, The Cannery Barn, and others.
It is the student's responsibility to ensure that their negative COVID test results are received before the dance. Bring your I.D. card & picture of your results to get into the dance. Students that buy tickets but fail to get tested will NOT be refunded. "Inconclusive" test results are the only way to get a refund. *If you have tested positive for COVID with 90 days of the dance, please bring proof of your positive result in lieu of the negative test result.

CAREERS: Seniors - do you need money for college?  If so, then you should apply for scholarships!  The Career Center's Scholarship Bulletin lists lots of great scholarships that you just might qualify for!  The Scholarship Bulletin can be found on the Career Center's webpage. In January and throughout the spring, the Bulletin will list local Davis community scholarships that are only offered to Davis seniors, so check the Bulletin often and apply for these local scholarships!

Job opportunity:  Davis Community Church is looking for students to provide childcare at the church on Sunday mornings for 4-5 hours and Monday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.  Experience working with children and parents is required.  Pay is $15.00 per hour. Must be CPR/First Aid certified, fingerprinted, COVID-19 vaccinated, and complete . Yale Young Global Scholars Program is accepting applications from sophomores and juniors to attend a two-week program this summer hosted both online and on the Yale campus. Sessions will facilitate international discussions in the humanities, social sciences and STEM fields. Students will hear from Yale faculty members and participate in seminars.
