ATTENDANCE: When leaving school please remember to come to the attendance window early in the morning to collect your pass to leave school. To receive a pass your legal guardian must write you a note or call the attendance office to leave a message. Without following these steps your absence will not be cleared. ACADEMICS/OPORTUNITIES/EVENTS/: Hey DHS! The Middle Eastern Union is a club dedicated to educating students about life in the Middle East, spreading cultural awareness, and crushing stereotypes related to the Middle East. The DHS Middle Eastern Union is an inclusive club, and all people are welcome to join. The first and second meetings of the Middle Eastern Union will take place Tuesday October 12th and Tuesday October 26th in room O-3 at lunch. Everyone is welcome! We can't wait to meet you!!
The homecoming dance is 10/16, from 8-11p.m. Ticket sales for ASB start this Friday for $8 and general sales start on 10/11 for $13. You are required to provide a Negative COVID test result within 3 days to be let in. Covid testing can be done at the ASC between 4:30-6:30 next Wednesday or at the Vet's Center, please try doing it to ensure that your covid negative results come before the dance. Bring your I.D. & picture of your results to get into the dance.
Hey blue devils! Are you interested in joining DHS's most spirited club? Well then, come to BDP Squad's info meeting this Thursday @ lunch in ASC-100. We'll be going over some super important info like how to qualify for a Senior cord, so be sure to come check it out!
CAREERS: Yale Young Global Scholars Program is accepting applications from sophomores and juniors to attend a two-week program this summer hosted both online and on the Yale campus. Sessions will facilitate international discussions in the humanities, social sciences and STEM fields. Students will hear from Yale faculty members and participate in seminars. The website will let you know your appointment code. Enter the appointment code to the appropriate box, and it will show the date and time of your on-campus appointment. From there you will be able to view your appointment as well as change your appointment.

Plan for retakes: If you have already taken Senior Portraits, but would like to re-do your pictures, please email byterritory at lifetouch.com<mailto:byterritory at lifetouch.com> by October 6, 2021. Prestige will then be able to schedule you for a re-do session at the PRESTIGE STUDIO. Please note that re-takes have an additional fee determined by Prestige.

Deadline to photograph for Senior Portraits is by October 28, 2021. If Seniors miss the deadline they will not be in the yearbook.
