 THIS DAY IN HISTORY:  2011 - It was announced that Microsoft had closed a deal to purchase the internet phone service Skype for $8.5 billion.

ACADEMICS/OPORTUNITIES/EVENTS/: Class of 2021-Legacy Project, Seniors are invited to take part in painting a Legacy Mural. SENIORS: We are excited to celebrate your Senior and their accomplishments at our Davis Senior High School Class of 2021 Graduation Ceremonies! Below is specific information regarding our ceremonies.
Ceremony 1 will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 8:00 pm for Seniors whose last names begin with letters A-K.

Ceremony 2 will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021 at 8:00 pm for Seniors whose last names begin with letters L-Z.

Seniors will receive a Google Form (RSVP for Graduation 2021) via CANVAS Portal on May 6, 2021 requesting the following information:

  *   Senior's first and last names
  *   Phonetic pronunciation
  *   Accommodation needs
  *   Name and contact information of attendees
*Due to safety and health guidelines, graduates can RSVP for up to 4 tickets each.  Tickets will be grouped and randomly assigned.  In order to obtain all 4 tickets, graduates must identify attendees by name within the RSVP for Graduation 2021 Google Form.

This form must be filled out and submitted by 11:59 pm on May 21, 2021 in order for us to plan accordingly.  We highly recommend that you complete this form with your Senior to ensure accuracy.

If your Senior chooses not to participate in the in-person ceremony, please have them indicate this on the Google Form. Seniors who choose not to participate in the in-person ceremony will still have their name read during the ceremony.

CAREERS: The Career Center would like to know if a senior received any scholarships not administered by the Career Center, such as scholarships from colleges or outside organizations. These outside scholarships will be announced in a virtual Senior Awards program that will be posted on the Career Center's webpage in June. Sacramento City College (SCC) is offering virtual Senior Saturdays on May 9 from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm.  At Senior Saturdays, students will receive assistance with completing their SCC application, financial aid, orientation, meeting your Success Coach and enrolling in classes.
