  *   Sacramento City College (SCC) is offering virtual Senior Saturdays on May 1 and May 9 from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm.  At Senior Saturdays, students will receive assistance with completing their SCC application, financial aid, orientation, meeting your Success Coach and enrolling in classes.   *   The deadlines are coming up fast for these remaining local scholarships of the year:  PTA Senior Awards for students who experienced growth during high school, Lily Nisen Scholarship for students who played with Davis AYSO in U14 or older division, Davis Chinese Association for seniors of Chinese descent, Davis Chamber of Commerce Scholarship for students who discuss how COVID impacted their education,  California Retired Teachers Association for students pursuing a teaching career, Mary Ellen Dolcini Scholarship for seniors of Mexican-American heritage, Sutter Davis Hospital Scholarships for students pursuing a human health related career, Yolo County Peace Officers Association for students pursuing a career in Law Enforcement.   *   The Rotary Club is offering Camp Royal summer camp for high school juniors and seniors virtually this year from June 14 - June 17.  Students who attend Camp Royal build communication and problem-solving skills, learn from inspirational speakers and peer mentors, discover dynamic leadership strategies, have fun and form lasting friendships.
