All athletes must be cleared with the DSHS Athletics Department before they may start participation.   ACADEMICS/OPORTUNITIES/EVENTS/: Caps & Gowns: Your caps and gowns are here!!! You can pick them up on the Davis Senior High School Quad, either Monday, April 19 OR Tuesday, April 20 between the hours of 1:00-3:00 pm.

***If you are on campus for in person instruction, you may pick up your cap and gown on the quad after your last class of the day.

Reminders:

1.   Every senior receives a cap and gown free of charge

2.   Please wear a mask at all times when coming on campus

3.   Please exit campus after you have picked up your gown



Graduation Speech Application (Extended Due Date):

The 2021 Graduation Speech Application is located on the Canvas portal, or you may pick up a hard copy from the front desk. Email speech application to Mrs. Singh at ssingh at djusd.net<mailto:ssingh at djusd.net> OR turn in a hardcopy to the front office no later than 4:00 pm Friday, April 23, 2021.

CAREERS: The Sacramento Division of the FBI is now accepting applications for their Teen Academy, which is open to students who will be juniors or seniors during the 2021-2022<tel:2021-2022> school year.  At the Academy, students will get a look into today<calendar:T5:today>’s FBI, including presentations on terrorism, cybercrime, public corruption, evidence response, SWAT, and the daily operations of a typical FBI office.  This in-person event will be held at the Sacramento FBI office on Friday, June 18, 2021<calendar:T2:Friday,%20June%2018,%202021> from 7:30 am – 5:00 pm<calendar:T1:7:30%20am%20–%205:00%20pm>. The final Scholarship Bulletin of the year is now available.  Local and regional scholarships still available are PTA, Lily Nisen, Davis Chinese Association, Davis Chamber of Commerce, California Retired Teachers Association, Mary Ellen Dolcini, Sutter Davis Hospital and Yolo Retired Peace Officers. The Career Center would like to know if students received scholarships not administered by the Career Center, such as scholarships from colleges or outside organizations.
