Davis Senior High School Bulletin

ACADEMICS/OPORTUNITIES/EVENTS: If you ordered pictures from Lifetouch, they are ready to be picked up from the Student Success Center (connected to the front office) located at Davis Senior High School, Monday-Friday from 8:00 am- 3:50 pm.
PSAT/NMSQT
DSHS will offer the PSAT/NMSQT on the alternate test date of Tuesday, January 26, 2021 with adherence to Yolo County Public Health guidance. The January administration will have the same benefits as the October PSAT/NMSQT, including eligibility for programs administered by National Merit Scholarship Corporation. Students may sign-up now until 1/8/2021 and pay after the test. The cost is $25.00. If you feel this is a financial hardship, please contact your counselor.

When to sign-up for the PSAT/NMSQT:      Juniors  - 11/20/2020 to 1/8/2021
                                                                           Sophomores - 12/14/2020 to 1/8/2021 (subject to availability)

CAREERS: Seniors - it's time to look for scholarships!  The Career Center publishes a Scholarship Bulletin which lists lots of great scholarships that you just might qualify for!  The Scholarship Bulletin can be found on the Career Center's webpage at https://dshs.djusd.net/counseling/career_center.  In January and throughout the spring, the Bulletin will list local Davis community scholarships that are only offered to Davis seniors, so check the Bulletin often and apply for the local scholarships!
Do you need help completing your FAFSA or Dream Act Application?  If so, go to the Career Center's webpage at https://dshs.djusd.net/counseling/career_center to find links to upcoming workshops and webinars where financial aid professionals will help you complete your application.  The deadline to submit the FAFSA or Dream Act is March 2, 2021.
