ACADEMICS/OPORTUNITIES/EVENTS: AP Exams are $99 per test. Online sales are now until 10/11. https://user.totalregistration.net/PSAT/050730 .The PSAT/NMQST is Saturday, 10/19. The cost is $25.00. There are a limited number of tests available. If you feel this is a financial hardship, please contact your counselor. Juniors only sign-ups are now up 'til 10/1 and sophomores sign-ups begins 9/17 to 10/1
ATTENDANCE: If you are planning to visit a College Campus -Only Seniors will receive a maximum of two days as excused Absences. What do you have to do to get absences excused?
*         Students need to submit to the attendance office documentation 3 days prior to the college visit.
*          Students need to provide an appropriate documentation from the College or University they are visiting.
*          College visits needs to be pre-approved by an administrator.  Questions come to the Attendance office for clarification.
Committees: DHS Site Council is looking for dedicated students to join our committee. The Site Council consists of Principal McHale, staff, parents, and students. The Site Council discusses ways to improve student achievements and supports new programs. Site Council meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 3:30-5:00. If you would like to help shape the future of our school, please pick up an application from Mr. McHale at the Front Desk in the Main office by Monday, 09/23. Applications are due by noon on Tuesday, 09/24.
ACTIVITIES: HEY HEY BLUE DEVIL DANCERS
do you like jazz?? hip hop?? the Cleveland cavaliers? if you said yes to any of these come see Mrs. Gardias in room PA8 to sign up for a dance workshop hosted by the choreographer for the Cleveland Cavaliers dance team. The workshops are offered on Saturday October 19th
9-10am intermediate hip hop,10:30-11:30am jazz,1:30-2:30pm beginning hip hop
classes are one hour and $20 each and all proceeds benefit the davis high advanced treble choir
spaces are limited so sign up soon!!!!
CLUBS: Interested in joining a great service club with cool projects? CSF Fall registration ends today, outside Ms. O'Brien's room, P-13. Pink registration sheets can be found in this room. To register, bring a completed pink registration sheet, $5, last semester's report card and your green hours sheet if you are a returning member.
Hey Blue Devils! Want to stand out on college applications while helping and supporting kids in the community? Come to P-21 @ lunch today to join the Davis Type I Diabetes Club!

Hey Blue Devils! Are you part of a sports team or club at DHS, if so do you want to be in the Homecoming parade? Applications to be in the parade are out & located in ASC 100!! They're due 09/30, hope to see you there!

Interested in math beyond what's taught in the classroom? DHS Math club is having its first meeting on Thursday 09/26 @ lunch in N-6.
