MENU DHS: Breakfast Served Daily:  Cereal w/Graham Cracker, Breakfast Pizza, Assorted Breakfast Sandwiches, Scones, Breakfast Burrito, Chicken & Cheese Quesadilla, Pancakes w/ Sausage, Assorted Muffins, Chicken & Biscuit Slider, Yogurt Parfait w/Graham Cracker. Grab & Go Hot Chocolate & Muffin & Fruit Cinnamon Rolls.

ATHLETICS: Our Blue Devil Varsity Football team is playing for their first league championship since 1994 this Friday! Come out and support the team! Games are at Cosumnes Oaks High School in Elk Grove - 5:00JV-7:15 Varsity. Go Big Blue!
The Davis High Wrestling team has the first practice of the season on Monday November 4.  Varsity practice for returning wresters starts at 3:45pm.  JV practice for freshmen, sophomores and all new wrestlers will start at 6:00pm.  All 9th-12th graders are welcome. Athletes must be cleared with the DSHS Athletics Office prior to Nov. 4.
Boys in grades 9-12: Interested in the DSHS Boys Golf Team this spring? Come to an info meeting on Thursday, November 7th at 7pm in the DSHS library. Meet the new coaches and learn about the upcoming season and tryouts.
Tryouts for Davis High Girls Basketball will begin Monday, Nov 4th. Seniors and Juniors tryout from 4-6 PM, Sophomores and Freshman tryout from 6-8 PM. Tryouts are held in the South (small) gym. You must have a cleared physical on file with DHS in order to tryout. If you are currently playing a fall sport, and will miss tryouts because of playoffs, please email Coach Heather Highshoe at hhighshoe at djusd.net<mailto:hhighshoe at djusd.net>. If you have any questions, contact Coach Highshoe.
Sophomore boys interested in JV Boys Basketball tryouts: Pre-season conditioning will be held today and Nov. 1st from 5PM-6PM. Meet Coach Mueck in front of the home bleachers in the football stadium.

ACADEMICS/OPORTUNITIES/EVENTS: DSHS will host the SAT tomorrow, November 2, 2019. Arrive to P-13 at 7:45 am to get your room assignment. You must have your registration ticket and photo ID to enter. Photo ID on cell phone will not be accepted. Please consider leaving your cell phones at home. If your phone or electronic device chirps, beep, buzz, vibrate, ring or make any noise you will be dismissed and your test will be canceled. Remember to bring your calculator. Test begins promptly at 8am - NO late entry. Please consider leaving your cell phones at home. Cell phones and electronic devices will be collected and must be OFF. YEARBOOK: Attention Senior Parents! Make sure your senior has a keepsake of this important year. Deadlines for purchasing a yearbook and/or a commemorative ad are coming up! Go to the school website at http://dshs.djusd.net/ and click on "Yearbook Website" on the left to purchase a yearbook directly from Walsworth.  If you are not sure if you have purchased a yearbook already, please contact ASB bookkeeper Mikayla  Fregoso at mfregoso at djusd.net<mailto:mfregoso at djusd.net>.Prices and deadlines for yearbook pre-sales are as follows: Until Dec. 31: $95,Until Jan. 17: $110. A limited number of books will be available for sale in May for $125. PURCHASE A SENIOR AD Share your memories and a congratulatory message with your graduate by purchasing a senior ad. Go to the school website and, under the "Student Life" tab, click on "Yearbook Website" on the left. Scroll down to find the "Senior Ad" link. You will submit text and photos; the yearbook staff will design it to match the rest of the ads in the section. Senior ads may be submitted between now and Friday, Jan. 10. No senior ads can be purchased after Jan. 10. Here are the prices: Full page ad: $280, 1/2 page ad: $175,1/4 page ad: $100, 1/8 page ad: $65

Seniors! Do you want to be rented out by your peers! Rent-a-senior, applications are out now, pick them up and turn them in by November 6 all in ASC-100.
Guys, Gals, and non-binary pals! Come to our GSA meeting on Monday @ lunch in to learn about upcoming events and our movie night in November.
CAREERS: Colleges visiting the Career Center today include UC Santa Barbara.
Cabin Leaders are needed for North Davis Elementary's trip to Walker Creek February 3 - 7.  Deadline to apply is November 20. Come to the Career Center for an application.
