MENU DHS: Breakfast Served Daily:  Cereal w/Graham Cracker, Breakfast Pizza, Assorted Breakfast Sandwiches, Scones, Breakfast Burrito, Chicken & Cheese Quesadilla, Pancakes w/ Sausage, Assorted Muffins, Chicken & Biscuit Slider, Yogurt Parfait w/Graham Cracker. Grab & Go Hot Chocolate & Muffin & Fruit Cinnamon Rolls.

ATHLETICS: Our Blue Devil Varsity Football team is playing for their first league championship since 1994 this Friday! Come out and support the team! Games are at Cosumnes Oaks High School in Elk Grove - 5:00JV-7:15 Varsity. Go Big Blue!
The Davis High Wrestling team has the first practice of the season on Monday November 4.  Varsity practice for returning wresters starts at 3:45pm.  JV practice for freshmen, sophomores and all new wrestlers will start at 6:00pm.  All 9th-12th graders are welcome. Athletes must be cleared with the DSHS Athletics Office prior to Nov. 4.
Boys in grades 9-12: Interested in the DSHS Boys Golf Team this spring? Come to an info meeting on Thursday, November 7th at 7pm in the DSHS library. Meet the new coaches and learn about the upcoming season and tryouts.
Tryouts for Davis High Girls Basketball will begin Monday, Nov 4th. Seniors and Juniors tryout from 4-6 PM, Sophomores and Freshman tryout from 6-8 PM. Tryouts are held in the South (small) gym. You must have a cleared physical on file with DHS in order to tryout. If you are currently playing a fall sport, and will miss tryouts because of playoffs, please email Coach Heather Highshoe at hhighshoe at djusd.net<mailto:hhighshoe at djusd.net>. If you have any questions, contact Coach Highshoe.
Sophomore boys interested in JV Boys Basketball tryouts: Pre-season conditioning will be held today and Nov. 1st from 5PM-6PM. Meet Coach Mueck in front of the home bleachers in the football stadium.
ACADEMICS/OPORTUNITIES/EVENTS: DSHS will host the SAT on Saturday, November 2, 2019. Arrive to P-13 at 7:45 am to get your room assignment. You must have your registration ticket and photo ID to enter. Photo ID on cell phone will not be accepted. Please consider leaving your cell phones at home. If your phone or electronic device chirps, beep, buzz, vibrate, ring or make any noise you will be dismissed and your test will be canceled. Remember to bring your calculator. Test begins promptly at 8am.
Let the Davis High School Jazz Choir bring some sparkle to your holiday party or any special occasion by hiring an octet to perform at your event! These talented singers are available to perform traditional and jazzy interpretations of holiday songs, jazz standards, numbers from Broadway - they can even sing the Hallelujah chorus!  They do all of this with verve, grace, and an expressive style that is all their own. Fees start at $300, and can increase depending on travel distance and length of engagement. Seniors - Can you believe it is already time to start thinking about Grad Night? Every graduating senior in Davis ( DaVinci, DSIS, King and DHS) is welcome to celebrate at this All-night party on Friday, June 12th from 9:30 pm- 5:00am. Tickets are $75.00 until February 1st so get your tickets before prices go up. Ticket includes all activities, food, and raffle entry. Interested in radio technology or experimenting with building and operating equipment? Come to Amateur Radio & Technology Club, today in S-12 @ lunch for a presentation from guest speaker on preparing for and passing the license test.
