Join Counselor Kim Liu in a discussion opportunities for students to explore strategies that address school success in our first Health and Wellness Event of the year during 6th period in the Library's West Conference room. Conversations will focus on student strategies to address all aspects of the school community. Delve into the world of supports and ideas to explore new options in addressing school challenges. Student must enroll on the counseling main webpage. Student attending this session will sign in on arrival and their absence from class will be excused as a school event. CAREERS:
Volunteers are needed for Holmes Junior High School's afterschool homework club on Monday and/or Wednesday from 3:30-5:00 p.m., Volunteers must be 11th or 12th grade students and have good math and/or science skills. Come to the Career Center for more information.
Korematsu Elementary School has a volunteer opportunity for an assistant coach for Girls on the Run, an organization that helps girls develop strength and leadership through running.   The assistant coach will work with 4th and 5th grade girls Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:15 - 4:45.  Deadline to apply is October 31.  Come to the Career Center for more information.
