Join Counselor Kim Liu in a discussion opportunities for students to explore strategies that address school success in our first Health and Wellness Event of the year on October 30thduring 6th period in the Library's West Conference room. Conversations will focus on student strategies to address all aspects of the school community. Delve into the world of supports and ideas to explore new options in addressing school challenges. Student must enroll on the counseling main webpage. Student attending this session will sign in on arrival and their absence from class will be excused as a school event. CLUBS:
Haunted House - Saturday October 27th. Calling all thrill seekers! Come to the student-run haunted house, Cirque Du Scare, at 2620 Corona Drive in Davis from 7pm-midnight. Tickets are $5 at the door and benefit the DHS Jazz Choir.  Get ready to be scared - are you brave enough to enter the Cirque Du Scare haunted house?

Hey Devils! Excited for this year's high school musical: "Little Women", opens Friday, November 2nd at 7:00pm. The show will run for two weekends, so follow @davishighdrama on Instagram for more information, and go see your Blue Devil Broadway stars on Opening Night!

CAREERS:
Volunteers are needed for Holmes Junior High School's afterschool homework club on Monday and/or Wednesday from 3:30-5:00 p.m., Volunteers must be 11th or 12th grade students and have good math and/or science skills. Come to the Career Center for more information.
Korematsu Elementary School has a volunteer opportunity for an assistant coach for Girls on the Run, an organization that helps girls develop strength and leadership through running.   The assistant coach will work with 4th and 5th grade girls Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:15 - 4:45.  Deadline to apply is October 31.  Come to the Career Center for more information.
