THIS DAY IN HISTORY: 2001 - It was announced that scientists had unearthed the remains of an ancient crocodile which lived 110 million years ago. The animal, found in Gadoufaoua, Niger, grew as long as 40 feet and weighed as much as eight metric tons.

Haunted House - Saturday October 27th. Calling all thrill seekers! Come to the student-run haunted house, Cirque Du Scare, at 2620 Corona Drive in Davis from 7pm-midnight. Attention All Seniors! Rent - A- Senior application due date has been extended to Friday October 26th. Make sure to get them in to ASC 100 in order to participate in the event on November 2nd.

CAREERS:
Volunteers are needed for Holmes Junior High School's afterschool homework club on Monday and/or Wednesday from 3:30-5:00 p.m., Volunteers must be 11th or 12th grade students and have good math and/or science skills. Come to the Career Center for more information.
