THIS DAY IN HISTORY: 1842 - A Mexican force of over 500 men under Rafael Vasquez invaded Texas<http://www.on-this-day.com/us/tx> for the first time since the revolution. They briefly occupied San Antonio, but soon headed back to the Rio Grande.

ACADEMICS/OPPORTUNITIES/EVENTS:

Seniors: Are you interested in giving a speech at the 2018 Graduation Ceremony?  Graduation speech applications are now available!  Please see Marlen Cabrera in the front office.  All applications are due by Friday, April 6, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. No late speeches will be accepted.


"Applications are now available from ATC students or in PA8 for the ATC 'So You Think You Can Dance' Competition scheduled for Saturday, April 7th at 7:00 pm in the IPAB.  Come dance the night away and win $150.  The deadline for applications is March 14th.

Avid applications are available in the main office or Room N-1. Applications are due to Ms. McInturf in N-1 by Friday, March 9th.

Everyone who would like to feel calmer, more connected, and generally happier. Mindfulness training will be held in room O-5 every Wednesday from 2:45 to 3:15pm. For more information contact Ms. Tabor in O-5.


The art of Davis High School students is being exhibited Saturday, March 9 from 5:30 - 8:30pm at the 94B Gallery near Woodland. Please come out for a fun night to celebrate these talented students!
