Students please help our kitchen staff at the All Student Center keep the center clean and organized for everyone. Return your trays, plates/bowls and silverware to the All Student Center so that they can be cleaned and returned to circulation. Please throw trash away and clear your tables.  If you don't want your fruit, add it to the Share Baskets. We appreciate your time and your cooperation.

Hello Big Blue Football Nation. It is time to start thinking about the greatness that awaits you if you have the courage and integrity to join the DSHS football program. It will be the greatest experience you have during your high school years and will leave you with shared memories for the rest of your life. So that your parents can share in your journey to be the best student, community member, leader, teammate and player that you can be we ask them to attend our first parent/student information night. The date is Thursday Feb. 15th . The time 7:00 pm. The place : DSHS Library. Parents will meet the coaches, learn about what we stand for, get necessary significant date and contact information and be introduced to the blue print for success as well as the parent handbook. The meeting is mandatory for parents of 2018 players.
ACADEMICS/OPPORTUNITIES/EVENTS:

Enjoy a delicious dinner, singing and dancing at the 30th annual DHS Jazz Choir Cabaret - the choir's most elaborate production and largest celebration of the year. Dinner shows will be held Saturday, Feb. 10 and Sunday, Feb 11 at Emerson Junior High. A final show-only performance will be held on Saturday, Feb 17 at Brunelle. Hey CSF! We have our retake yearbook photo this Friday as well as registration all week. For registration, bring your pink sheets, report card and last semester's hour sheet to P-13 during lunch. You can find pink sheets in P-13, the library, and the front office. Hope to see you there!
Hey, hey its friendship day! The event is this Friday, February 9th and forms are due in the office by this Wednesday the 7th. Come for priceless memories!
It's the Clash of the Titans! Come and support your DHS Ping Pong Club, the Table Tennis Titans! Bring $5 dollars to Mr. Birdsall's room in N-9 and play every day for a chance to win a gift card!
If you are interested in discussing & debating current events, come to DHS Politics Club this Friday at lunch in N-2! Snacks will be provided.
Come to our Red Cross Club fundraiser at Tea for you. On February 10th, this Saturday, it will run from 11am - 11pm, and please present our flier available @dhsredcrossclub which is our Instagram. Please come as we really appreciate your support!
CAREERS:
If you plan to attend community college in the fall, you should attend the Sacramento City College Application Workshop on Friday, February 9 from 10:15 - 11:00 in the library computer lab.  Representatives will help you complete the Los Rios online application, which is the first step in the registration process.  Your application will allow you to enroll at any of the four Los Rios community colleges.  Come to the Career Center to sign up.
Time to sign-up for this month's Financial Literacy class on Friday, February 9 at lunch in the Career Center! This month's class will be on employment taxes, W-2's, and payroll deductions. This is a great class for students who work or are planning to get a job. Come to the Career Center to sign up. The class is limited to 30 students.
