Students for your convenience the Food Truck is now located in between the North Gym and the N buildings during Break and Lunchtime.

Students please help our kitchen staff at the All Student Center keep the center clean and organized for everyone. Return your trays, plates/bowls and silverware to the All Student Center so that they can be cleaned and returned to circulation. Please throw trash away and clear your tables.  If you don't want your fruit, add it to the Share Baskets. We appreciate your time and your cooperation.

Join the committee who supports Social Justice at Davis High School-Climate Committee meeting today at lunch in the West Conference Room of the Library. Come and learn about our outreach to clubs and our work to support a just environment for all.

ACADEMICS/OPPORTUNITIES/EVENTS:

Enjoy a delicious dinner, singing and dancing at the 30th annual DHS Jazz Choir Cabaret - the choir's most elaborate production and largest celebration of the year. Dinner shows will be held Saturday, Feb. 10 and Sunday, Feb 11 at Emerson Junior High. A final show-only performance will be held on Saturday, Feb 17 at Brunelle. Love to Sing?  Davis High School Choral Audition: Come sing with the DHS auditioned choirs: the Madrigal Singers, Jazz Choir and Advanced Treble Choir. Audition Application due MONDAY, FEBRUARY 26th.  Audition dates are March 5-9th

Mindfulness is the practice of paying attention to the present moment and noticing the thoughts and sensations that arise. Who should practice mindfulness? Everyone who would like to feel calmer, more connected, and generally happier. Mindfulness training will be held in room O-5 every Wednesday from 2:45 to 3:15pm. Hey CSF! We have our retake yearbook photo this Friday as well as registration all week. For registration, bring your pink sheets, report card and last semester's hour sheet to P-13 during lunch. You can find pink sheets in P-13, the library, and the front office. Hope to see you there!

Hey Key Clubbers! We will be holding spring registration during lunch in front of S-12 every day until Wednesday the 7th. Old members just need to bring their hours sheet and new members need to bring $7 dollars to sign up.

CAREERS:

In-person sales are 2/19 to 3/1 @ lunch only at the Finance Office. If you are in need of financial assistance, please contact your counselor immediately.
Students interested in pursuing a career as a veterinarian are invited to attend the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine's "Future Day" on Saturday, April 28 from 8:00 - 3:00. Future Day will focus on careers in veterinary medicine, offer hands-on activities and interactive labs, and will show students what being a veterinarian is all about. The event is free and includes a light breakfast and lunch.  Come to the Career Center to sign up.
If you plan to attend community college in the fall, you should attend the Sacramento City College Application Workshop on Friday, February 9 from 10:15 - 11:00 in the library computer lab.  Representatives will help you complete the Los Rios online application, which is the first step in the registration process.  Your application will allow you to enroll at any of the four Los Rios community colleges.  Come to the Career Center to sign up.
