THIS DAY IN HISTORY: 1922 - The Genoa Conference opened. The meeting was used to discuss the reconstruction of Europe after World War I.

Come support and cheer on Boys Volleyball team, on their Break The Record night, which is Monday, April 16.  So come and FILL THE STANDS, be loud, and wear Blue!  Game starts at 6pm
Come support the DHS Boys Golf teams and enjoy some pizza at the same time! Come to Lamppost Pizza on Thursday, April 12th and mention DHS Boys Golf and the team will receive 30% donated back! Good for takeout orders also.
ACADEMICS/OPPORTUNITIES/EVENTS:
The District Office is now accepting applications for Summer Custodians for High School Students.  You must be available to work from June 11, 2018-August 24, 2018, 40 hours/week from 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., hours differ based on sites assigned.  Applications are available at the District Office Front Desk, 526 B Street from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Hey Seniors, it's almost time for prom! Prom tickets will be on sale from April 16th until May 11th Prices: $80 without ASB $75 with ASB at the Finance office at lunch. To buy a ticket you must have a table organizer and a new dance contract turned in. both of these forms are available now in the finance office.

Hey Guys! Come to T4: On Wednesday April 11th to support the DHS Badminton team! Come between 3pm and 10pm & make sure to bring a flyer or picture of a flyer to show the cashier.

Hey DHS! Powderpuff applications for football and cheerleading are now available in ASC-100 and are due to the Finance Office Friday April 30th.

CLUBS:
DHS Red Cross Club will be holding its spring blood drive on Friday April 13th. You must be at least 16 years old and weight at least 110lbs. to donate blood. Sign-ups are in the quad all the way to the day before the drive 4/12. If you participate, you will get a free t-shirt and the opportunity to save lives.

CAREERS:
It's time to sign-up for this month's Financial Literacy class on Friday, April 13 at lunch in the Career Center!  This is the last Financial Literacy class of the school year. This month's class will be on "Paying for College and Paying Your Way Through College." Pizza will be provided. Sign-up in advance in the Career Center.  The class size is limited to the first 30 students who sign-up. Sign-up early; the Financial Literacy classes fill up quickly.
CAASPP TESTING:  Attention students - Please check with one of your teachers for your classroom assignment for the CAASPP testing weeks. Students will report to the same classroom during the testing block.
Sophomores: They will report to the same classroom the following days of the testing weeks for the Writing Assessment and assemblies

-          Wednesday, 4/11 - Student will complete the 10th Grade Writing Assessment.

-          Thursday, 4/12 -   Students will participate in assemblies

-          Wednesday, 4/18 - Students will participate in assemblies
Thursday, 4/19 - Students will participate in assemblies
Juniors: They will report to the same classroom the following days of the testing weeks for ELA and Math
