OPPORTUNITIES/EVENTS/MISCELLANEOUS:  48th Annual Madrigal Choir Dinner Show!  Enrich your holiday season with the tradition of “rustic elegance” and join us for the 2016 Madrigal Dinner Show and Silent Auction at our new venue at Waite Hall, Yolo County Fairgrounds, Woodland.  There are two events this year: Friday, Dec. 2 @ 6:30 Appetizers, 7:15 dinner is served.  Saturday, Dec. 3 at 3:30 pm, appetizers and dinner served at 4:15 pm. Buy your tickets for Winter Ball online or at the Finance Office at lunch.  Tickets will cost $20 on with ASB and $25 without.  Buy them soon because they will increase in price and attendance is limited.  You must have a dance contract on file! If you have a Guest Pass to get signed, you must have it completed, signed and turned in by Thursday, December 1st!  Tickets will be also on sale, Friday, December 2 after 7th period.

Winter Ball is coming up on Saturday, December 3.  If you’re looking for a dress or have dresses to donate, the dress swap is for you!  Stop by P-12 on Thursday after 5th period.

Are you looking for a quiet place to study?  Do you need to use a computer?  If you answered yes to any of these questions, come to the Internet After Hours Program at DHS Library.  We are open every Monday through Thursday from 5:00 pm to 7:15 pm.  All DJUSD students and their families are welcome.

BLUE DEVIL BOOK DRIVE!  It’s the Final Week for the Blue Devil Book Drive! Bring a book to English class by this Friday, December 2, and make a difference for families in need.  The Blue Devil Book Drive will donate all books to the STEAC (Short Term Emergency Aid Committee) Holiday Program.  We will accept gently-used books for children of all ages: from babies to teenagers. Books for older readers and books in Spanish are especially needed.  All donations are greatly appreciated.    Contact your English teacher or Mrs. Pilon in Room P-20 for more information.

CLUBS: Attention CSF: There will be a general meeting this Friday at lunch in Room P-13.  There are only two meetings left after this one!

Join the DHS Unicef Club!  Help make a difference around the world one student at a time by fighting for the survival and development of children around the world!  Meetings are ever other Monday in Mr. Williams’ room (L-23).
