ACADEMICS/CAREERS/OPPORTUNITIES:  Are you interested in physical therapy?  If so, come to the Career Center on Wednesday, 2/17 at lunch to hear David Harrington, a Kaiser physical therapist speak about common sports injuries and his career. Snacks will be provided!

Do you want to be an OG with V-squeezy?  Then come apply for Student Government.  Applications are available in Mr. Vasquez' room, N-1A and are due Friday, 2/19.  Apply if you want to help define your campus for years to come!

Do you need a job this summer?  The City of Sacramento Parks & Recreation Department is looking for high school students, 16 years and older to work at Camp Sacramento near South Lake Tahoe this summer.  Students can choose from a variety of paid jobs that include room and board.  Come to the Career Center for more information.

Get ready for the world premiere of "The Eden Project."  Imagine an Earthless-life and the fate of the human race resting on 6 teenagers.  You'll love this sci-fi piece!  Performances are March 4th, 5th, 10th, 11th, 12th at 7:00 pm and March 6th at 2:00 pm in the IPAB/Brunelle Theater.

UC Davis is hosting a "Dollars and Sense" Week February 16-18 on the UC Davis campus. Financial aid professionals will be available to help students and parents complete FAFSA or DREAM Act applications. Come to the Career Center for more information.

SENIORS:  March 2 is the deadline to apply for federal and state financial aid for college.  Don't miss out on getting free money for college!  If you have any questions about completing financial aid applications, come to the Career Center.

SENIORS:  If you're planning to attend UC Davis, have a minimum GPA of 3.5, and you made money by working at a job during high school, you may qualify for the $13,789 Beeghly-Merritt Scholarship!  The deadline to apply is April 1.  Applications are now available in the Career Center.

Attention all DHS students:  Blue Devil hooded Sweatshirts are in!  Please come to the Finance window to purchase, cost is $20... First come first serve... They will sell out quickly!

Grad Night! Every graduating senior in Davis (Da Vinci, DSIS, King and DHS) is welcome to celebrate at this all-night, off-the-hook, alcohol/drug-free party on Friday, June 10. Applications are now available to seniors interested in giving a speech during the 2016 Graduation Ceremony.  Please ask Ms. Carmen Schnathorst for a Graduation Speech Application.  The application and typewritten speech are due April 1, 2016 by 4p.m.  Finalists will be invited to a live audition the week of April 11, 2016. Speakers will be chosen and notified by April 22, 2016.

Attention AP Students: AP exams are available for purchase in the Webstore now!  $97 per test.  No refunds, so purchase carefully.  Stay tuned for more information, including dates for in person sales in March.

CLUBS: Attention all CSF members!  CSF registration begins on Tuesday, February 16th and ends on Friday, February 26th, every day at lunch in front of Room P-13 (Ms. O'Brien's room).  Make sure to bring $5, last semester's report card, completed pink sheet and if you are a returning member, the green hour sheet.  Hope to see you there!
