Come and see 'A Tribute to Tony Fields' tonight at 7:00 pm in the IPAB! You won't want to miss this awesome show with songs from 'Wicked,' 'Pippin' and Michael Jackson's 'Thriller!' You can see it Saturday, 4/23 at 7:00 pm too! Student admission is $8.
Attention Seniors: Grad Night Tickets will be sold on campus this week! Bring your check payable to Davis Grad Night for $90.00 or cash. Volunteers can also instruct how to purchase online. Availability will be: * Friday, April 22: At lunch in the quad * What's Grad Night? A spectacular, all night party for every graduating senior in Davis. Price includes all food, activities and raffle entry. Don't miss this rite of passage!
AP tests are coming up so Math and Science tutors are planning to host AP reviews for Biology, Physics 1 and 2, Chemistry and Calculus. The review schedule is as follows: AP Cal, AB/BC Friday (4/22/16), AP Chemistry next Monday (4/25/16) and AP Bio next Tuesday (4/26/16).

2016-2017 DSHS Dance Team - Final day to return all required forms to Coach Perez is this Friday, April 22, 2016 @ 3:30 pm. If you are interested in trying out for the Dance Team please see Coach Perez in the DSHS Main office for the required forms. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS: The Link Crew application deadline is coming up! If you are interested, be sure to pick up a form in L-23 or the Finance Office to apply for the 2016-2017 school year. Submit your application by Friday, April 29th. Further details are given on the form.
College Night for Juniors and their parents is Thursday, April 28 at 7:00 p.m. starting in the IPAB. At College Night you will learn about public and private colleges, universities, community colleges, scholarships, financial aid, college entrance testing and more during breakout sessions. Join us on April 28 to find out more about the process of applying to college!
CSF Seniors: If you are graduating as an ACTIVE lifetime member, you are eligible to apply for our chapter Scholarship. Applications are available in P-13. Deadline for submission is Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 1:00 pm.
ACADEMICS/CAREERS/OPPORTUNITIES/EVENTS: The Davis Chamber of Commerce has two internship opportunities for students who want to get involved in the local business community. Tasks include social media marketing, creating promotional materials, economic development research, and help with events such as Celebrate Davis, Chamber Golf Tournament, Discover Davis, Installation Gala, and Chamber luncheons and mixers. Come to the Career Center for more information.
Come make a corsage and boutonniere with the Ag Department, Thursday, April 28th through Friday, the 29th after 7th period. $15 for both, $10 for boutonnieres. Ms. Michel will ensure their beauty.
Attention Juniors & Sophomores: Are you not happy with your new 2016-17 schedule? Do you feel that you're missing that perfect class to bring it all together? Add the LEAD class to your schedule next year! Help promote goodwill and friendship in your school and community. Come talk to Mrs. Butler in L-21 if you're interested.
SENIORS: The 2016 Senior Ball is almost here! Seniors are all invited to experience the Starry Night on April 30, 2016 at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Sacramento. Doors open at 6:30. Tickets will be on sale in the Finance Office during lunch April 11 to April 22. Tables seat 10-your group must buy tickets at the same time to be seated together. See the Senior Ball Table Organizer, available in the Office and at davishighstudentgovernment.wordpress.com. Seniors and their guests can purchase tickets; if your guest is not a DJUSD student, complete a Guest Pass and submit it to your Vice Principal for approval by April 20.
