ATHLETICS:   Basketball players in grades 4th-8th are invited to the annual DHS Blue Devil Basketball Camp June 15-18.  The camp is $75. per camper and will be held from 8:00 am to 12 noon in the Davis High School North Gym.  For more information, visit the DHS Boys Basketball website http://www.dhsbluedevils.com.

Annual Sports Physical Clinic at Sutter Family Practice – Saturday, June 6th – 8:30-11:30 am at 2030 Sutter Place. $20 donation benefits DHS Athletics. Athletes in grades 7-12 are encouraged to get their sports physicals done in preparation for the 2015-16 school year. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS: Did you get your yearbook yet?  Yearbooks will be available for sale for $100. in the Finance Office at lunchtime until they run out.  Don’t wait!

Herff Jones will hand out caps and gowns to seniors that did not pick theirs up on Tuesday June 2nd during lunch in the quad.

Senior Awards Night is almost here!  ALL SENIORS are invited and encouraged to come to Senior Awards Night on Tuesday, June 2 at 6:00 p.m. in the IPAB.  This is a fun and enthusiastic event and we look forward to seeing you and your family there!  Now posted in the windows of the main office and the Career Center are the names of all students receiving scholarships, awards, or special recognition at Senior Awards Night! Check the list to see if your name is on the list!  Come to the Career Center if you have questions about Senior Awards Night.

Grad Night Tickets are now $110.  You can purchase a ticket right now via brown paper tickets or by printing a paper ticket and mailing it in with payment.  Both methods are accessible via www.davisgradnight.org<http://www.davisgradnight.org> now.  Students can purchase entrance into Grad Night at the door for $110.

Seniors, if you missed the Senior Assembly, please stop by Mrs. Perez’ desk in the Administration building to pick up the information you missed.  If you attended the assembly and have not yet turned in your request for your 4 free Graduation tickets, please do so today; without this information seating preference cannot be guaranteed.

ACADEMICS/CAREERS/OPPORTUNITIES: AP US HISTORY STUDENTS FOR NEXT YEAR 2015-2016-All incoming AP US History students for next year must attend a mandatory lunchtime meeting next Wednesday, June 3rd in the library. We will be distributing the Summer Assignment and explaining the requirements and expectations for the course.  Please bring your Student ID cards in order to check out the textbook. The meeting will start at 12pm.

CLUBS/EVENTS:  The results are in! The 2015 devil day car show winners are as chosen by the voters:
Best import -- the 1993 Mazda RX-7, entered by Ganeshwar Singh
Best domestic car -- the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT, entered by Swift Dodge of Davis
Best classic car -- the 1959 Volkswagen Bug, entered by Kyle Schutte
Best truck – the 2015 Ford F-250, entered by Amelia & Alex Hess
Best overall – the 1987 Nissan 300 ZX, entered by Zain Aljabiry

And selected by the judges:  The best non-student car, winning a second time: the 2015 Dodge Challenger, Swift Dodge And the best student car, also winning a second time: the 1959 Volkswagen, Kyle Schutte.
Winners receive a $25 O’Reilly’s gift card. Prizes can be claimed in the DHS auto shop, room O-3, from car club advisor, Robert Thayer.  Congratulations! See you again next year at the devil day car show!

Hey Key Clubbers!  Come to our last meeting of the year this Wednesday, June 3rd at lunch in S-12!  We will have food and will be sending off our seniors!  See you there!

Last chance to see Jazz Choir! The Jazz Choir will cap its 2014-15 season with Jazz-N-Pops at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6th in the Richard Brunelle Performance Hall. We will feature favorites from throughout the year as well as a fun flash-back to the ‘70s with a song and dance medley from "Jersey Boys" and lots of small group performances. Pre-sale tickets available from Jazz Choir members and at Watermelon Music ($5.00 students, $8.00 adults).  All tickets the day of the program will be $10.00. The box office opens at 6:00 p.m. and doors open at 6:30p.m.
