Daily Bulletin - Monday, October 14, 2013

THIS DAY IN HISTORY:

In 2003, a Chicago Cubs fan caught a fly ball out of the air before outfielder Moises Alou could catch it, preventing a crucial out. That broke the Cubs' momentum and led to a Marlins win. Cubs fans were 5 outs away from the World Series and breaking the Curse of the Billy Goat from 1945, which still plagues the team today.
