Sports Physical Paperwork Nights:  October 23 & 24: 6-8pm in the North Gym lobby. Turn in your completed paperwork and receive your athletic clearance card to present to your Winter coach on the first day of tryouts.

-For Lunch today we have Pizza or Pasta.  Choice of seasonal vegetables or Hawaiian (turkey ham or pork ham and pineapple chunks), pepperoni with olives, chicken ranch, chicken BBQ, or Beef taco topping.  Whole Wheat Pasta with garlic and walnut pesto sauce or Marinara sauce or Pasta with vegetables and beans.

COLLEGE VISITS TODAY:  Occidental College @ 9:00 am, Williams College @ 10:00 am, Lewis & Clark College @ 12:40 pm.  Sign up to attend any of these visits on Naviance or come to the Career Center!

-Are you interested in diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations agenda? Join the Model United Nations Club! There will be a lunchtime meeting on Monday, September 24 in P-25. Members have the option to attend conferences during the school year, where they will research a country, take on roles as diplomats, investigate international issues, debate, deliberate, consult, and then develop solutions to world problems. Model United Nations is a fun and educational experience. See you on Monday in P-25!

-Fellow Ravenclaws, are you interested in helping build our homecoming float?  Come to our float building meeting in Ms. Grivas's room, P-21 this Wednesday, September 26 at lunch.  See you there!

-The City of Davis invites you to join them on a tour of northern California universities!  This Saturday, September 29, they tour Chico State and on October 6, they will head to UC Berkeley.  Trips are $65. and include transportation, college tour and lunch. These tours are informative and lots of fun, so buy your tickets early!

-Want to join the Davis Lady Rugby Team?  Come to Conditioning - Mondays and Wednesdays 4:00-5:00 at the field by North Davis Elementary and the public library!

-On Tuesday, September 25th, the second Chinese Club meeting will be held.  Go to Room T-3 during lunch and meet others also interested in Chinese language and culture.

-Do you want to learn new dance moves and show off your own?  Do you want to be part of the freestyle performances in the quad?  Then come to Freestyle Club in the Dance Room on Thursdays at lunchtime to express yourself through dance, beat box and more!

-Attention Blue Devils interested in Architecture or Engineering careers.  The DHS Engineering and Architecture Club is hosting an informational meeting today at lunch in the Career Center (N-17).  Hope to see you there!

-Do you enjoy creating writing?  Come join Expression Through Writing Club at lunch in Room P-20 this Wednesday, September 26.  This is your share your ideas through various creative writing forms.  See you there!

-Pioneer Elementary School is still taking applications for Walker Creek Cabin Leaders!  Guys are encouraged to apply! Pioneer will hold a cabin leader meeting at 3:30 on September 26 at Pioneer Elementary, so come to the Career Center SOON for an application! -Picture Retake:  Picture retake will be on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Library West Conference Room.  You must bring your unwanted picture packet that you received in order to take your new pictures.   All new students that took pictures in the Library, please come and take your picture on October 2 so that you will be in the Yearbook.

-Seniors! You must take an official Senior Portrait in order to be featured in the yearbook! You do not have to buy a package, but you must take a photo. -Students who will be voting in the November election: be an informed voter - please come learn about the five candidates for the local school board. -Calling all thespians! ACME Theatre Company invites all 9th-12th grade students to audition for their upcoming productions of "In A Grove" (in the fall) and "Radium Girls" (in the winter).  Auditions for both shows are September 26, 28 and 29 and callbacks are the 29th and 30th. -Davis Senior High School is seeking a parent to serve on the School Site Council for the 2012-2013 school  year.  The School Site Council discusses ways to improve student achievement and meets at Davis Senior High School on the third Thursday of each month at 3:00. -College visits are in progress!  Come to the Career Center or go on Naviance for the date and time of each college visit.  Students must sign up on Naviance prior to attending a college visit and must check in with their teacher before leaving class to attend a visit.
