2017-18 DHS Band Officer Council

Ty Wilkinson – Pep Band Student Director
                Responsibilities: Ty will work with Mr. Slabaugh in organizing the Pep Band for both rehearsals and performances. He will lead the band in music during Pep Band events, as well as lead the band in cheers, serving as the leader of the spirit and the embodiment of Blue Devil Pride.

Drew Kraft – Assistant Pep Band Student Director
                Responsibilities: Drew will assist Ty in his duties, as well as being responsible for attendance at all Pep Band events.

Rachel Klusky – DHS Bands Secretary
                Responsibilities: Rachel will help Mr. Slabaugh by keeping an updated calendar of events for the entire DHS Band Program. She will also help communicate timely events to all band members through board posts, social media, etc…

Nick Archer – Percussion Equipment Quartermaster
                Responsibilities: Nick will keep track of the condition and wear of all percussion instruments. He will also assist Mr. Slabaugh in maintenance and repair of percussion instrument as necessary.

Wyatt Evans – Road Crew Captain
                Responsibilities: Wyatt assist Mr. Slabaugh in organizing the Road Crew, the group of students responsible for assisting with the transportation, loading, and set-up of equipment and luggage when we perform off campus.

Evan Belk – Jazz Band Librarian
                Responsibilities: Evan will assist Mr. Slabaugh with the distribution and collection, including filing, of Jazz band sheet music. He will also assist Mr. Slabaugh in recreating missing parts as necessary.

Ellie Baker & Eleanor Richter – Challenge Masters
                Responsibilities: Ellie and Eleanor will assist Mr. Slabaugh in organizing and administering Challenge auditions for the DHS Symphonic Band.

Jacob Barretto – Stage Manager, Symphonic Band
Responsibilities: Jacob will assist Mr. Slabaugh in making sure sign up lists for set-up crew are available for every performance, as well as organizing and making sure the stage is properly set before each performance.
