[Dhsbb-jazz] Reno Festival Update

Dear Jazz Band Families,
    On April 26- April 27, the Jazz Band will be going to the Reno Jazz
Festival at the University of Nevada, Reno.  Even with Mr. Slabaugh's
injuries, we are moving forward.
   The band will be leaving at 9:00am by bus to Reno on Friday, April 26.
One combo will be playing that day, and the band will attend an evening
concert.   The group will be staying at Circus Circus Reno on Friday night.
On Saturday April 27, the other combo and the full band will be playing.
After attending and playing at the festival on Saturday, the band will
depart Reno at 6:00 pm and are expected to arrive in Davis by 9:00 pm.
   The students will be staying three to a room, and we will be sending an
email soon about how much each family's contribution will be for the rooms
as well as many other details. The Davis High Band Boosters will be paying
for the bus.
