We hope this email finds you well. We have heard back from our NGJF faculty judges at Berklee College of Music, and unfortunately your ensemble was not selected to participate in the finalist divisions at the 2015 Next Generation Jazz Festival. We know that this is not the news you were hoping to receive, and we do apologize for informing you via email. Please remember that the NGJF is open by audition to superior level groups such as yours, and the competition to become a finalist is always very competitive.



We hope this news will not discourage you from reapplying for the 2016 NGJF which is slated for April 1-3, 2016 in downtown Monterey. As always, our policy is not to post, publicize, or share the ranking order of applicant submissions.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us​. All of us here at the Monterey Jazz Festival  sincerely thank you for your application and we hope to hear from you again next year.
