[Dhsbb-jazz] Lange Scholarship applications DUE January 17th!!

Fredrick Lange Scholarships
2014-15

Applications now being accepted (due January 17, 2015).

Four $250.00 awards will be provided. Awards are to be used for private lessons, for students taking up a new-to-them and underrepresented instrument in the Band. The student must be choosing an instrument they have played for less than six months' time, and must state their intention of playing that instrument in one or more of the DHS Bands for at least one school year. This year the instruments a student can audition for will be French horn, bassoon, and oboe.

Application: Due on or before 5pm on January 17, 2015 to Mr. Slabaugh. See attached application form. Scholarship announcements will be made in March.

Auditions: Audition times will be determined once applications have been evaluated. Auditions will last approximately 10 minutes, including a brief interview and 2-3 minutes of music performance.
