[Dhsbb-jazz] FW: Saturday JAZZ AT THE COMMONS, call for parent volunteers and vans/pickups

Jazz Band Parents -
This Saturday October 4th at 3:00, the Jazz Band will be performing at the Commons in front of Whole Foods.  We are requesting parent volunteers to move and parent vehicles (i.e. vans, trucks) to transport needed equipment.  We will need to transport chairs, music stands, sound equipment, speakers, amplifiers, electrical cords, etc....  We are requesting parents show up at 1:00 at the band room ready to roll.  We are hoping to get at least 4 parents and their vehicles.  The more volunteers the faster it will go and volunteering is a great opportunity to meet or catch up with other jazz band families.  Please email me to let me know if you can volunteer.

This is a really fun event, providing families and passersby the opportunity to see the first jazz event of the year in a great and relaxed environment.  Bring friends and family. Remember that by the end of the year when the jazz band has stormed the area with great music and memorable performances, that this event offers you the opportunity to say "I knew them when....."
