DHS Bands Spring Tour 2011
Updated Packing List and Information Sheet 5/8/11

Bring your PASSPORT!!!   Weather Forecast:  54 degrees, 60% chance of rain
Travel by air, bus and ferry results in limited baggage space. Students may bring:

ONE CARRY-ON piece of luggage (no larger than 24 x 16 x 10).  If bringing instrument on plane instead of sending on the equipment truck as recommended, it MUST meet these dimensions, otherwise item will be re-directed to the cargo area of the plane! If students must bring a larger suitcase it can be brought to the IPAB on Wednesday evening and shipped on the truck.  However, students will not be reunited with their luggage sent on the truck until late Friday.
ONE bag or backpack as a second “carry-on” for snacks and books, etc.
An airplane friendly dinner to eat on the way to Seattle on Thursday evening.

Each individual is responsible for carrying their own items.  LUGGAGE TAGS are required on all items.

Students should bring carry-on luggage with them on Thursday.

NEW TIME: If you absolutely must bring over-sized luggage . . . those larger suitcases and all instruments/music stands are to be brought to the IPAB from 2:30-5pm and ABSOLUTELY NO LATER, on Wednesday, MAY 18th. Items must be checked-in and placed in the appropriate “baggage area.”  (Parents will be there to check in luggage and watch over it until the truck departs). If you need to contact the truck driver call John Ebeler (530) 312-9105.

Medications should be brought to parent helper Debbie Finley, RN at the IPAB on Thursday, May 19th as carpools check in on our way out of town.
