There were complaints that the social media news post took up too much
of the DDC calendar announcements. So, the social media posts will move
here to the DDC's community activist e-mail list.  This list was created
for community activism and calls for action.  The social media news
posts are a call for people to participate and to like and repost the
DDC posts.  Every like and repost drives up the visibility of social
media posts and aids in our getting our message out.  #RESIST

We are committed to helping the following campaigns on social media and
the names are followed by the amount of money the DDC has sent to these
campaign.  Please support the DDC on Social Media to help these people
with likes, comments and reposts.  We need your help on social media
with likes and reposts.  Contact us if you are posting, so we can help
make you more visible in your support.
For The House -- Congress:
McGuire CD 1, $3,000
Ami Bera CD 3, $2000
Mike Thompson CD 1, $1000 -- DDC integrated with campaign on social media
Pan CD 6, $2,000
Mai Vang CD 7 $1000
Adam Gray CD 13, $1000 -- DDC integrated with campaign on social media
Randy Villegas CD 22, $2,000 -- DDC integrated with campaign on social media
Derek Tran CD 45, $2,000
Dave Min CD 47, $1000 -- DDC integrated with campaign on social media
von Wilpert CD 48  $2,000

For US Senate -- Congress
Mary Peltola, $3,000

For Governor
Xavier Becerra $2000

For Yolo County Supervisor
Mayra Vegas $1000  -- DDC integrated with campaign on social media

We need help in promoting Mai Vang for CD 7 on social media, because
some of us are supporting her opponent Doris Matsui.  This is a Blue on
Blue Democrat election, but the board wanted to support this younger
candidate in a 9 aye to 3 nay votes.

Mai Vang has reached out on social media and thanked the DDC for its
$1000 contribution to her campaign.  The other campaigns that have
thanked us on social media for the DDC contributions are: Randy
Villegas, Dave Min, Derek Tran, and Myra Vega.   We are trying to help
more on social media with her campaign.  The Yolo Business PAC is
supporting her opponent with money.  We will go further with help on
social media.

We are now fully supporting Mary Peltola on Facebook, interacting with
her campaign.  We are taking her Facebook content and posting and
promoting her with original DDC posts on Bluesky and X/Twitter.

We are fully involved with the Randy Villegas campaign on social media,
posting and reposting for the campaign.  We were already in full
campaign support mode for Mike Thompson and Dave Min.  Dave Min is the
only Congressman that continued to post weekly after the 2024 election
and like Mike Thompson follows us on X/Twitter. Because of this, the DDC
has been fully supporting Min and Thompson on social media from day 1 of
the 119th Congress.  We are trying to reintegrate with the Adam Grey
campaign and to integrate with the other campaigns that were given money.

Our attention though is on Mike Thompson and Dave Min.  Mike Thompson,
the DDC account is involved with posting and reposting original
investigative reporting on his opponent Eric Jones.  The Jones campaign
has from even before the primary a strategy of election manipulation.
Much has been published about this strategy and much has been discussed
off line.  The Eric Jones campaign is working closely with Republicans
and the strategy now is to court and secure the 22% that voted for
Raymond Riehle.  His platform has taken on a conservative  flavor to
secure these votes.  What is clear is that Eric Jones has no allegiance
to anyone and wants just to get elected.  His agenda is pass a uniform
AI federal bill that will regulate AI across the country. Because he is
a partner is a venture capitalist AI firm named Dragoneer, this is all
suspect.  If you wish to learn more, please read Roberta Millstein's
articles about Eric Jones.  She posts on Bluesky and Nextdoor.  You can
read her articles about Jones on Davisite.

The Dave Min support by the DDC is more direct.  Dave Min's seat is
being targeted the Republican Party.  His opponent is a MAGA woman that
ran for governor of California.  They are pouring money into the
campaign and they have supporters on X.  What is happening is that the
DDC account with an ally is posting responses to the MAGA accounts
harassing Dave Min on X.  What we do is lead block MAGA blue check
account campaigns against the blue check accounts that post replies on
Min's X account.  They do not like these campaigns one bit.  For the
remaining people, we post true facts about Donald Trump and his
administration.  Since these are MAGA accounts they do not see this
material that comes across the main feed from the Blue accounts.  Like I
continually write, the DDC gets its best material from the Blue X posts
to post on Bluesky.

For those looking for the club Twitter (now X) account:
https://x.com/DavisDemocratic We now are at 6,871 Followers.  We are now
71 followers above our midterm goal of 6800.  We are 1000 followers
above the 5800 follower limit.  If our number of followers drop below
that number, we will close the X/Twitter account so as to not pay any
money or contribute numbers to Elon Musk and his platform success.  The
BIG difference to date is that we are actively interfacing with the 10
campaigning congress people on X and informing them of the $22,000 that
the DDC has donated to their campaigns plus the Governor's race and the
Yolo County Supervisor Race.  We are too small for them to ban us and we
continue to post and magnify anti-Trump posts.  We continue to work to
flip the House and Senate Blue.  We continue to #RESIST  I cannot post
it enough, I get most of our hardest hitting material from Blue posts on
X to post on Bluesky.

We currently have 38,390 Bluesky followers.  Bluesky continues to purge
and block accounts that are bogus accounts.  These are fake accounts
that use fake websites to collect money for real campaigns.  Even though
we are losing 20 to 40 accounts a week, we are increasing our numbers
with quality followers that work with us.  Please join us on
Bluesky.  The Davis Democratic Club on Bluesky is:
https://bsky.app/profile/davisdemocraticclub.org

What makes the work easier on social media is the help of Eileen Samitz
with supporting posting material.  Luba Schmid contributes both photos
an movies and helps with likes and comments.  We have lost Rosie Mauhr
after the Bondii Beach massacre in Australia. She is alive, but some of
her relatives were killed and hence she is keeping a low profile.  In
social media, one needs original material to keep posting to attract
followers.  Luba Schmid and I produce local material.  Pytor Alexievich,
an American in Kyiv, provides material from Ukraine and is a good friend
to the DDC. We get additional valuable follower recruitment support from
Judith Bolyard, an American in Thailand.  We get additional editorial
cartoons  and follower recruitment support from a person that goes by
the handle ACW1234.  Of course we would not be part of the #RESIST
movement is not for all the unemployed National Park workers at Alt
National Parks.  I purchase the Smokey the Bear #RESIST pins and bumper
stickers from them that we give away to any who want them at the PBE
meetings.  We get all our news about what Trump is doing -- everywhere.
When we started following them that had over 140,000 followers.  They
have grown to a massive 894,600+ Followers.  They took the DDC #RESIST
and made it their own.  And, I appreciate it, because they turned it
into merch I can give away to #RESIST Trump!

For those looking for the club Facebook account:
https://www.facebook.com/DavisDemocrats We continue to have over 1600
followers.

Again, please help the DDC on social media by logging in and follow,
like, and repost DDC account and posts.  To find our accounts please use
the links above.

Thank you for reading this report.
