[Davis Democrats] April General Meeting and Potluck on April 26

Teach Peace!  We are trying to get Mr Dionysis of Teach Peace as the Keynote
Speaker of this event.

The day of this event will be Thursday, April 26, 2007

Doors Open at 5PM for Board Members and Club Members that wish to help 
set-up the room. 

Time: 6:30PM to 7:30PM -- Potluck
Time: 7:30PM -- Program: Guest Speaker invited by John Chendo
Place: The community Room
        Davisville Apartments
        1221 Kennedy  Place, 
Near Covell and off of J Street.  

Come share food and break bread with the Democrats of Davis. 
 
People are encouraged to pass out political and Democratic party information 
or articles to the membership.  There should be a lot of peace information at
this gathering.

Please bring your favorite food you like to cook or prepare or purchase,
either a main dish, salad or dessert to share with 4 to 6 to 8 people.  The
Club will provide coffee, cups, forks and spoons and chocolate candies and
candied
hearts.  The suggested donation at the door will be $5.  

Potluck suggested breakdown of alphabet for food to bring to event.  If your
last name starts with:

                A-I  Bring a dessert
                J-R  Bring a main dish
                S-Z  Bring a salad dish (green, macaroni, or potato or other)

There one item for the General Membership of the Davis Democratic Club to
vote upon. 

There will be vote as to whether or not to accept Carl Schmid to the Davis
Democrat Club Board as Membership Chair.  This is a position on the board
that is voted upon by the general membership of the club.  All dues paying
members are required to vote.  If you cannot attend the meeting, please send
in your proxy vote to G Richard Yamagata, Betty Weir or Bob Bocwkinkel.
