[Davis Democrats] Save the Date-- 9/10/06-- "Back to School Blues" Friends of Jim Provenza Annual Event

Dear Friends,

I am writing to invite you to attend the "Back to School Blues" , featuring
the Rick Donaldson Blues Band. It will be an evening of music, fine food,
and fun. 

The event will held  on Sunday September 10 from 4-7 PM at the home of Holly
and Matt Bishop: 1237 Drummond South in Davis (See attached invitation).
Tickets are $25 per person ($15 seniors, students and low income). Tickets
can be ordered by mailing a check to Friends of Jim Provenza, 3043 Bollate
Lane, Davis, CA 95618.   

If possible, please also consider being a sponsor of the event.The following
sponsorships are available: Honor Roll ($100- $249) Merit Scholar
($250-$499) and Valedictorian ($500 or more). All sponsors will be listed on
the official invitation and program and will receive 2 tickets to the event.

I will likely be president of the Davis School Board next year. I will
continue to work hard to promote greater opportunities for disadvantaged
students while maintaining the high level of excellence in our academic
programs. Your continuing support is sincerely appreciated and will enable
me to continue to serve our community.
