_Disconnected: Seven Lessons on Fixing the Digital Divide_ is a new
report from the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City that focuses on the
gap between those with and without access to affordable, reliable
broadband and the skills and equipment to utilize it.

  Based on national data, interviews, surveys and roundtables,
_Disconnected_  illustrates how the digital divide affects every aspect
of community and economic development, and that the digital divide
should capture the attention of every community leader. This is not a
technical report, but is instead intended to give non-experts a working
knowledge of the size, scope and relevance of the digital divide.
