Due to these closures, Yolobus Routes traveling through Downtown Sacramento will be rerouted only during the specified times. The affected bus routes include Routes 42A, 42B, 39AM, 40, 41, 240, 241. On Monday, January 18th 2016, Yolobus will be running a Non-Express Holiday Schedule. The affected bus routes include: * Route 42A/42B - Intercity * Route 39 - Southport Commute * Route 40 - West Sacramento Local * Route 41 - West Sacramento Local * Route 240 - West Sacramento Shuttle * Route 241 -West Sacramento Commute The following bus stops will not be served: * 5th St at G St. (Northbound and Southbound) * 3rd St at G St. (Northbound and Southbound) * Tower Bridge Gateway & Raley Field (Eastbound and Westbound) * W. Fare media with a magnetic stripe include monthly passes, semi-monthly passes, daily passes (pre-paid, farebox-issued and fare vending machine-issued), and pre-paid single ride tickets. Passengers using RT photo ID cards with valid fare stickers (Disabled pass, Senior Pass, etc.) or Sac State Commuter sleeves and Los Rios Community College Student Access Cards as a form of fare media, will not need to swipe upon boarding. Confirming validity via the magnetic stripe will help prevent counterfeiting and fraudulent use. On buses, customers are asked to have passes and tickets ready to swipe to expedite boarding. On light rail trains, passes and tickets must be available for visual inspection. For Yolobus passengers purchasing Daily Passes issued out of Yolobus fareboxes, which are valid on RT, we have the following guidance from RT: If a pass is swiped (slid) through an RT bus farebox and gets a negative sound, RT drivers have been informed to visually inspect the pass. Customers will not be turned away unless the pass is not valid, "expired" or appears to be fraudulent when the RT driver does a visual inspection.
