<p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">The City of Davis and the Natalie Corona Committee invites the community to the grand opening of Natalie’s Corner Splashpad honoring Davis Police Officer Natalie Corona who was killed
while on duty in 2019. The event will take place on August 16 from 10-11 a.m. in Central Park near the stage by the carousel.</p>

<p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">These improvements are funded by a $2.784 million Statewide Park Development and Community Revitalization Grant, City Park Impact fees and community donations. The water feature is accessible
to persons with disabilities and complements the existing universal playground.</p>

<p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">The City of Davis created the Natalie Corona Committee to recommend a place of remembrance for Officer Natalie Corona and to secure the necessary community donations to complete the
project. The Committee is a community-based group led by former Senator and Mayor Lois Wolk. The Committee set a fundraising goal of $500,000. The Committee raised $560,776 to date in community and brick donations. The Committee is continuing their fundraising
efforts.</p>
