The council and city commissions also are only meeting over Zoom as well. May I assume you have internet access since you communicated by email? If you know of individuals who lack such access and would like to participate in ONDNA meeting, please let me know and perhaps we can partner them with someone to view the meeting with social distancing. -John Meyer From: Dan Quickert Sent: Tuesday, September 1, 2020 8:44 PM To: John Meyer Cc: oldnorth at mailman.dcn.org Subject: Re: [OldNorth] Old North Davis Neighborhood Association Annual Meeting 9/17 excuse me if this is obvious or if I missed something in the last couple of years, but how are people without Internet access going to know about this meeting; and how will they see the agenda? Will they be able to 'attend' the meeting? Isn't there a notice period required still, for meeting, agenda and/or bylaws changes? I'm not trying to be disruptive, I just would like to know how much has changed since I was last a member of the BOD. Dan Q p.s. don't worry, I am not planning to run for a BOD seat. Wait - now that I think of it, I don't know how many seats are in play, or who occupies them... maybe the candidates could line up in front of a row of chairs that represent vacant BOD seats, then play "musical chairs" until all the seats` are filled. I hope that doesn't sound threatening, or disruptive - well, that can't happen anyway, it's a "virtual meeting". I have opinions about some things, as always; and a few possibly humorous things to say regarding the text of the mess age John kindly sent us , but I'll save them for when/if I'm asked. pps: I'm still having phone problems, so if you call or write to me and I don't get back to you soon, I either forgot you or forgot to check messages or have not yet been able to communicate, or all of the above. I'm sorry, but that's my reality these days. ...that plus terminal long-windedness...
