The city will be hosting a presentation on the new draft downtown plan Saturday at 1:00.  If you’re able, I encourage you to attend.  As noted below, there is also a video link to a presentation made to our committee last week if unable to attend Saturday’s presentation.

Opticos Video Presentation to DPAC

The October 24th DPAC meeting is available for viewing on the City video archives under “Other” at: https://www.cityofdavis.org/city-hall/city-council/city-council-meetings/meeting-videos.  The Opticos presentation begins at about the 05:00 minute mark and goes until 1:02:00.



Community Meeting/Open House – Saturday November 2nd at 1:00 PM

This Saturday there will be a Community meeting at the Davis Community Church starting at 1:00 PM. It is for the general public and anyone is welcome. There will be a brief presentation at 1:30, but it will primarily be an open house format so the public to come at their convenience.



Form Based Code Training

Opticos will be conducting two training sessions on the Form Based Code scheduled for:



·        Wednesday, November 20th from 12:30 – 3:30 PM in the Community Chambers; or

·        Wednesday, December 11th from 5:30 - 8:30 PM in the Senior Center.



The two sessions will cover the same information and are open to the public but are geared for code users such architects, developers, etc. DPAC and other members of the public are also welcome. We are planning to record the November session for later viewing, but the session is a good opportunity for more practical information and hands on experience. Please share these dates and encourage attendance from those who may benefit.
