The recent announcement for Thursday's meeting states 5:30 as the meeting time - but the most recent agendas and minutes posted on the website state:

Minutes, August 21 2014:
"Meeting start time will now be 6 pm unless altered for a good reason."

Agenda, January 15, 2015:
"IMPORTANT CHANGE ? time has been changed from 6:30 to 6:00 pm. This will be the new revised time for the meetings."

So maybe the 5:30 time is an inadvertent carryover from some earlier meeting announcement used as boilerplate?
6:00 is a lot more convenient for working folks, especially commuters.
