[OldNorth] Old North Davis -- Burglary Saturday at 2:30am ALERT + PICNIC at 4:30

OLD NORTH interest group,
	The home owner who was victimized last night has asked OND to 
broadcast an alert about the attempt to break down the back door of a 
house in the 500 block east side of E Street.  The police were called 
and attackers ran away, leaving tools taken from the garage scattered 
in the back.  Check with the police if you have information or 
observations that might help identify the burglars.  BE ALERT and 
careful.
	On the positive side, TODAY AT 4:30 to 6:30 is the OND annual 
pot luck picnic and NEIGHBORHOOD MEETING TO ELECT BOARD MEMBERS. 
This is as usual at the 617 E. Street site of Lyda's park and the 
city's well and the green open space in the back.  Come to eat or 
come to chat with your neighbors.
	It is still not to late to volunteer your interest in serving 
on the 7 person board of directors for the year 2009-2010.
